I’m now in middle school!! And I’m glad. Also, there are a lot of cute boys. Problem is that I’m 5’6. I’m really tall for my age. All these boys are like really REALLY short. They’re are cute boys in the 7th and 8th but I’m not interested in them that much.

I’m proud that I’m tall in every way!! But, do you think it would be weird if i had a boy friend that is 5’3 or 5’4?? To me that is really short!! Seems difficult for me to like someone knowing that they are very short. All of them I like are smart, cute (as ever , and are very funny. Everything i look in a guys. But look down low.

What’s your opinion because I have been having this problem since 4th maybe since 5th grade.

oh, well it seems you do have a problem… well just i know most people would tell you to be yourself and just go out, but this is going to effect your rep. short guy tall girl? not the best match. but u are very lucky to be tall. i am 12 years old and going into 7th grade but i am real short. im only 5 ft 10 and almost everyone else is taller than me. i mean i dont have any problems with relationships because the guy is taller, but i mean my friends are always picking on me ( although they consider it a joke ) and asking me " hey hows the weather down there? " you could try going out with someone who is 5’5. dont go out with somone who is more than 2 inches shorter than you. trust me, you wont like it. kids in middle school are harsh… well at least in mine. my friend went out with this guy who was like 3 or 4 inches shorter than her and we used to call them brother and sister…lol, i mean i feel really bad for doing that to them. the girls not reallly that tall, its just that the guy is real small..
also, another one of my friend is about your height 5’8 and she is too afraid to go out with anyone until later because she is the tallest person boy and girl in the 7th grade.

dont ever think that being tall is a bad thing. once your in high school, you’ll meet lots of other guys who suit your height. most tall guys are really hot i hear, ( lol ) you’ll have plenty of time for that kind of stuff. maybe at your age you should be focusing on school? you dont nessacarily HAVE to have a bf. its just an option. if they dont suit you, they are obviously not the one.

P.S-The place where I live, has absolutely 0% chance for me to socialize, so the only way to make new friends is by getting online, and even that doesn’t interest me.

Being bored is a sign that we need to spice up our life. If your not working, how about finding a job that interests you? You may want to start volunteering somewhere. Contact those friends who have slipped away. Meet new people online. You may want to consider moving. If you cannot find ways to help yourself feel better, it would be a good idea to get professional help.

I am a 14 year old girl and I live in India. I know a boy who’s 17 years from the US. We met on an online Gaming Chat Site. I’ve known him for more than a year now. We started off as friends and then got close and then became best friends. I had a crush on him when we became close friends. He had a crush on me since the very first day we met online.
At the beginning we both thought that we’d be just friends… at least that’s what I thought… (This was on the Chat Site)… We got to know each other better by having every-day conversations. We both have quite a few things in common. We used to chat with each other almost everyday. Since he used the school computer and couldn’t not be online at the time I was because of his classes and all, he gave me his cellphone number as said that we could keep in touch with each other by texting. So as the cellphone is his, we text each other everyday.
As wee texted each other a lot he started giving me the signs that he was into me. I knew from the first day that he liked me a lot. And I did too… But I just suppressed my feelings until one day he confessed about his feelings to me and I too said that I felt the same way that he felt for me. But when he said that he was in a relationship with a girl, So I told him that it wasn’t right on his part. After a few days he broke up with her and started getting even more closer to me. Again, I just ignored this because we both live at the opposite sides of the world! And there are just 1 in a 1000 chances for us to ever meet in reality like face to face. And he too knew about this.
But since I have this distinct personality that fascinates most boys… He still had the same feelings for me and he couldn’t change it.
He kept having various relationships and kept telling me about it and I was totally okay with it. I used to keep fooling around with him saying "stuff" and when I did say these "stuff" he kept breaking up with his Girlfriends (Whether this was a co-incidence or maybe intentional is something I really don’t know but from my point of view it was intentional)
So months passed and he kept saying that I was a really awesome friend and that he’s really lucky to have someone like me in his life, I make him happy when he’s upset, I’m the reason he still has a smile on his face and I get flattered by all this. Then there was this time he was single and told me that this time he "loves" me and I said that I do not know what feelings I exactly have for him. So he just changed the topic and didn’t talk about it for some days, until I started saying "stuff" to him.
One day I gave a lot of thought to what my feelings are towards him and i found out that I too do really love him. I told him about this and he was like "You have no idea for how long I have been waiting for you to say that to me". We didn’t get into a relationship. He kept telling me that if he had the chance to come meet me or even get me there he would do it. And also if he had the chance to marry me, he would without a thought do it.
Recently he asked me whether if he would as me to marry him what would I say? And if my answer was yes he’d try all he could do to save enough money for me and him to be together and have a life together. He said that until I turned 18 he will wait.
According to him I mean the world to him… I am amazing and funny and always speak my mind and I’m much more sensible and mature than girls his age.
So my question is… What am I getting myself into?
Is this something for real? Or is this just infatuation and amateur behavior?
Does he mean what he says? Or is he just playing games with my mind?
I really need answers…. Please help me….
PS: I know this is something in "Cyber world" but, I truly belive in what he says and that we can meet some day.

I met him through here actually. I thought I loved him,we chatted everyday and everything. We were in different countries. We told each other we wanted to meet,and have a life together. But you know what, as time went by,I started talking to him less and less,to the point where we just stopped talking. Because I had a life other than an online social life. What I’m saying,if you ever wanted to have a future with this guy,please meet up in person and be careful. Un till then keep talking to him,and if the magic that you guys have does last,then it’s safe to say that it’s true love. Actually,most successful relationships do start off the net. But once you’ll see that you have a life ,too other than the INTERNET and find someone else in the same area. In your school. But it’s your life.You are young. i tried to be interested in getting to know her and tried to be nice and though i felt no spark there and i felt like i was doing all the talking ,till she got over her nerves and began to talk, i was nice not nasty! im a reserved, quiet person. I dont mmeet girls often & im trying to meet new ppl.

She said online she was funny, outgoing and liked confident girls, so i honestly
maybe she wouldnt like me much when we met. There was no spark there but we wre both nice and did talk fairly OK after the intial nerves.
To cut a long story short we ended the meeting awkwardly saying "see you later"
both found out online that we both thought the other didnt like them
and i overexplained myself online, which i did cos i dint want to offend her and
say straight out there was no spark and we didnt have much in common.
I was trying to be nice and it didnt work.

This led to her misunderstanding me online & her not responding to my to my last mesage ending with "I really wish you the best" She then changed her online profile to
"no cruel mind games" which i know was directed at me.

I am afraid that she may bad mouth me to other women on the site as she chats to
lots of girls and there is soon to be a party at someones house (to get ppl to meet to say hi in real life) which i hope to go to ,she may be there.

the gay commuinity is kind of small where i live & i dont want all the

The thing is, if she went around being a crazy biotch .. then people would suspect okay something is weird with her. If you don’t bring it up and just be yourself, it should all be normal. If someone happens to be acting weird or brings it up, you can explain in a calm manner.
